Making a Fashion Statement
1940s 2017

I would prefer 2017 style because it looks more free, like you have more space to move around in the 2017 clothing than the 1940s style.
The 1940s clothing looks a bit tight, and it looks like I wouldn't even be able to walk in that.
I'm not in to dresses anyways, i'm more in to a casual style. (shorts, shirt, jandals, e.g)
I think 65 years from now, the new generation will be wearing like really sparkly dresses, really high high heels and real big loopy earrings.

Kia Ora Angel,
ReplyDeleteIt’s great that you have written a reason why you dislike the 1940s style and why you like the 2017 style. I’m the same as you! I prefer comfy casual clothes too. Earlier in the 2000s sparkly sequin dresses were very popular especially for school balls! I remember when all my friends and I were looking at for a dress to buy and we were drawn to anything with lots of sparkles ! Would you be happy wearing sparkly dresses, high heels and big loopy earrings
It’s great to see that you are actively blogging. Keep up the awesome mahi!

I would wear sparkly dresses for special occasions, but i would never wear high heels and big loopy earrings. Thank You!!

It's awesome to see you've been involved with the Summer Learning Journey this summer! I know the team here have really enjoyed reading the blogposts you've completed so far. I can totally understand why you like the fashion more now then back in the 1940's. I'm definitely a big fan of jandels in summer, they're such great footwear to keep your feet from burning on hot concrete but doesn't make them all sweaty like shoes and socks do in the heat.
Just a friendly reminder that the programme runs until Friday 26th January so you still have just under a week to complete some more activities! We'd love to see some more blogposts from you soon!
Hope you've had a great holiday and are looking forward to going back to school to see your friends and teachers.
Nga mihi
Georgia
